Can I just note real quick, that neither the F22 nor the F35 have guns mounted below the wing, and that neither have two guns. They both have a single gun mounted on right wing root.

It is actually called a silencer. It is literally what then patent name is. Misleading as it is, it is the name.
If you're shooting from above into the water (say, a bridge), bullets will be deadly.
If you're firing from ashore, the bullets will lose their energy quickly and/or break apart.

Why is it that the bad guys die in one hit, but the hero can take 50 torso shots, and still be able to push through? Most bullet wounds aren't deadly unless it's to the brain, or heart. There has to be a hospital full of thugs with missing limbs, and spinal injuries in movieland. Those occupational therapists must make a shitlode of money.
How to know someone lives in cali. They think 16-17 bullets is enough to warrant a reload. In reality, most states allow guns with more than 1 shot.

You know that feels like the same thing in video games you shot if someone is in front of the barrel if feels like its shot hit immediately and then you go to a wall and fire and they put bullet holes there you dont see the bullet travel in most of those games so it feels like if you shoot the gun and it hits the person immediately
1:38 even though recoil is insignificant in movies for the reason explained (blanks) , there are indeed real automatic firearms with minimal recoil even firing in burst and with live rounds: e.g M3 grease gun, Fullsize UZI, Ultimax 100, VZ.61, Suomi KP31, MP-40 to name a few…
All those are pretty controllable and generate very low recoil even in full auto due to their weight/rate of fire/recoil absorption design.
