If you need to fly with a firearm, the TSA shows you the proper way to do it safely and legally. They also demonstrate some of the many strange items people have attempted to carry on airplanes, from gardening tools to credit card knives.

To all the people saying that guns don't just go off by themselves:
Guns are meant for killing, and therefore very dangerous. Is it not a good idea to be as careful as possible with something that can end someone's life so easily? Just because it probably won't doesn't mean it can't, and it's dumb to take risks on people's LIVES that can be avoided with a few extra seconds and a $10 gun case. I'm pro gun but being irresponsible like this is why gun laws get tightened. Not too long ago there was a kid who brought his dad's revolver to school to show it off, but when he put his bag on the desk it shot and almost killed a little girl. It happens, don't take the risk.
They want you to do it that way so they can steal it easier
I've been told by the TSA in Tampa that the Ammo and the gun has to be separate, not in the same case.
He didn't mention if it has to go checked or allowed carry-on. I assume carry-on, since it's at the checkpoint. But, then, if carry-on, what's to stop a person from opening the case and loading the gun. But, then, if it must be checked, it's not safe with the baggage handlers. Good theft item.
huh half a nunchuck?
How much do they charge to check a gun on a plane?!? I'm going to Alaska and i will be bringing a handgun and a shotgun?!?
What about a toy gun plz answer
Steak
What about if I'm in first class do i at least get a knife for my steal
The TSA can say whatever they want. Here is some real world advice: never fly with a gun under the plane. They get stolen all the time. queues the more you know theme with the star/rainbow
The correct answer is that you don't because TSA is a joke.
2 guns daily to 6 guns daily.
liberal media translation: 300% INCREASE IN GUN RELATED INCIDENTS AT HEAVILY POPULATED AIRPORTS, TSA CALLS FOR GUN CONTROL
Haha stupid gun laws causing more trouble than helping
rule is simple… IF you need to transport such items across state lines.. do it by ground or insured/secure transport of some kind.. please keep in mind that some states prohibit tranporting ANY weapons across state lines too…keep that in mind next time you go to a gunshow…
what about a BB gun rifle
This is brought to you by the tsa. in 17 years have yet to prevent a real terrorist, and love to see naked people and grope them.
Umm no the stuff is sold
DON'T DRAG PEOPLE
The guy in the video does a pretty good Jay Leno impersonation.
Half a nun-chuck? You mean a 'baton'?
Dumb ass liberals brain washing people oh guns are dangerous they just some how go off on there own wait did I forget to mention 1 the gun should of never been loaded in the first place two why the hell are you pulling the trigger people guns don't just go off I know it's a big shocker to all y'all brain washed sheep liberals but guess what that right there shows they don't know the 4 basic rules of firearm safety learn the proper way to handle a firearm I mean it's common sense and if you don't know ask how the hell hard is it
I saw the video title and I thought they ment to literally use a gun to fly. instead its the no brainer airplane firearm Saifty thing.
Dissapointment
if i had a dollar for every lie he just told, I'd be rich.
picks up a baton
"Ooo half a nunchuck!"
This guy knows nothing about guns. So you're supposed to put an unloaded firearm in a case with no mags but simply a box of ammo? Sure, okay…. now my $10 box won't close.
Minneapolis Airport failed 95% of their security test conducted earlier this month, so give the rifle golf club dude a break…
6.1 guns? what is .1 of q gun?
How do you carry a rifle? Is it the same way with a hard case?
"We've Seen Guns Go Off In Ticket Counters And Hit People"
And We Believe This From The Mouth Of FOX News…….
11 minute video on how to properly fly with a license handgun? couldn't have made it short and to the point. I don't even wanna watch a video that long about something that I'm assuming could have been taught in roughly 2-3 minutes.
1:15 What kind of dumbass smuggles a loaded gun?
But God forbid you bring a laptop onboard
just stop flying. if nobody gets on a plane for a year, They will stop treating people like livestock.
He forgot to recommend you should remove the firing pin. When the TSA emoloyees steal your gun and sell it to criminals and the criminal points the gun at a convenience store employee, instead of BANG, it will only go CLICK. You can save a life.
Oh i thought it mean fly not airplane flye
wtf is wrong with america?
So u can bring a gun on a plane but not and illegal plant (cannabis) wtf is this logic
Ironic how there's a sign right behind them saying you can't bring a weapon onto the plane
It scares me that they even explained this.
Explain how a close friend at work flew in to the country with 9 bullets in his luggage accidentally….
Wait so here's my question if your a TSA worker can you keep some of the stuff people don't come back for?
uhhhhh Uhhhhh yeah yeah hip thing
I just realised I wasted 11 minutes on this…
203 only because ur baggage handlers are careless with bags and u dont care about that guy
1. Be white.
2. don't be in a sane state like california.
The TSA guy sounds like Cenk Uygur
never store a loaded gun even if it's on safety lock into a bag.
here's one way, make them out of different metals
If you would have a gun, even in a case… in germany , youll be in serios Problems.. ( exept you come to the airport without the gun and say you come back with One)
Or you could just dissemble the firearm and place each piece in a separate luggage container. That way the gun can't go off while it's taken apart
