Bullet and Doris huh? Bullet's a Shi Tzu hijacking a drone and Doris looks like a steampunk cyborg lady. I honestly wanted a cowgirl tomboy but those look cool too.

If they ever remake Pocky & Rocky, they should also change the name to Kiki KaiKai… And uncensore the Harpy boss.
So they are re-releasing the SNES game for new systems. It looks good but so did it back on the SNES when it came out 1995. It would be have been better if they released an arcade collection but if this is more than $10 it pretty lame.
My only real issue would be that all I see new are a couple of "new" characters and a bigger screen. I'm hoping there's more to the actual content than just that.

Guys, you have no idea how hyped I am for this game. This is perhaps one of the greatest games on the SNES and my most favorite. And now 22 years later there's new content (of course, I only started playing this like 5 years ago). The gameplay and music are all phenomenal. I highly recommend this game to anyone.
From the original, here's what new that I found according to the video and research:
— 16:9 aspect ratio (as apposed to the standard 4:3)
— 4 player mode
— 2 new characters (bullet and doris)
— New weapon (Tesla gun)
— increased frame rate for particle effects (explosions, fallout, etc. don't look choppy)
— replaced sounds (some explosions sound realistic)
— fly around powerups (especially in boss rooms, you could not get powerups)
— paper cash (only ore and gold bags existed)
— MORE STAGES (original only had 6, excluding bonus stages)
