Everyone should be able to conceal carry except the ones you decide don't need self protection. Everyone should be able to conceal carry everywhere except those places you want to be gun free zones. Any place where there are government officials are gun free zones already and have weapons checks in place. The only way the people of the U.S. can be sure the government does not put us in slave labors camps is by the 2nd. amendment. But we do not need military style weapons to defend ourselves or to go hunting with. A good hunter usually just needs one shot. So maybe a pump action or bolt action might be necessary in some instances such as bird hunting. If we all had m 16s and the military was turned loose on us we would stand a snow balls chance in hell.

A civilian gun on another civilian gun will probbly result in a death or injury scenario. The more hostile the scenario, the more likely the adverse consequence of death or injury. This is why we have trained cops all over the fucken place. They respond and enter the scenario when it is right cause they have practice for it (although far from perfect). That Deputy wasnt a coward either. We dont know what the protocol was in an event like this! He was a solo guy with a handgun who heard a possible large scale crazy attack occurring within a building.. He didnt know how many people were involved and it was his handgun versus an semi automatic.

I heard the analogy that if a school kid beats another kid with a stick, do you give all the teachers and other kids a stick to defend themselves, or do you just take the stick away from the offending kid. Good point, but in America it is just too easy for that kid to go out and simply get another stick. Gun control is the only logical answer, but the arguments from the right in America aren't logical. America isn't run by the government, it's run by whoever gives the most money to buy the government, and as the NRA is one of these organisations, nothing will change, no matter how valid the argument against guns may be.

idiot. so telling a kid were having fire drills is any different? lets not prepare with a plan to help them to safely and quickly get out before the fire kills them because we dont wanna tell them fire can happen and kill them. that will definitely lower child fire death and injuries for sure. no better way to save lives in a fire than to spare their feelings and make sure they have no idea what to do in the event. after all feelings are what matters most to a corpse right?
