Guns Germs and Steel — Out of Eden- A three part Documentary series based on Jared Diamond’s Pulitzer Prize-winning book of the same name, Guns, Germs and Steel traces humanity’s journey over the last 13,000 years from the dawn of farming at the end of the last Ice Age to the realities of life in the twenty-first century. Inspired by a question put to him on the island of Papua New Guinea more than thirty years ago, Diamond embarks on a world-wide quest to understand the roots of global inequality.

He never once mentioned the impact of racial driven colonialism by Europeans.

What he is ignoring is how these different peoples responded to their geographic disadvantages. This is really the key when it comes to answering the question of why Europeans became advanced technologically and other groups didn't. It's really the disadvantages the drove exploration and invention.

If domestication is evidence of racial superiority then BROWN middle easterners are superior, not white people.

Why doesn't Diamond include Alpacas, Vicunas, or Guanacos in his domestication list?

If geographic advantages aren't responsible for the white man's absolute domination of the world, then the only possible explanation is genetic superiority.

It is what has always separated mankind, Sociopathy and its cousin Psychopathy. The lesser always leads to the greater and are part and parcel to our "Animalistic Territorial Imperatives". Resources and breeding rights are the most basic needs of the animal, which humans like to pretend they are not.

Every tribe and civilization all over the earth for millions of years have had no compunctions against killing any and all who have what the aggressors want, which is "Resources and Breeding Rights' !!!

Aggressors have always used whatever was available to outfit their warriors. As new tools were invented to bolster the aggressors armory they used them because it gave them the advantage, which then gave way to new inventions to counter those previous new tools. This continues to escalate today, to the point where we have what is call Scalar Weaponry which is beyond most people's imagination.

This is why today Humans are scared to death of Extraterrestrials, because humans have always enslaved lesser societies to benefit the aggressors. That "THINK" is counter productive to our race becoming an operative and productive member of our Galaxy.

REMEMBER; HUMANS KILL BECAUSE WE HAVE PREDATORY GENES FIGHTING EVERY STEP OF THE WAY TO SECURE ITS LINE AND THE REASON FOR MAINTAINING BREEDING RIGHTS AT ALL COST.

Genetics does play a role. Sub-saharans have archaic homo erectus DNA while Europeans and Asians don't. New Guineans and Australian Aborigines are pure descendants from homo erectus, that's why they have a lower IQ than sub-Saharan Africans, because they're archaic humans and sub-Saharan Africans and their erectus admixture are archaic primitive humans in contrasts to Europeans and Asians.

MY REVIEW OF THIS DOCUMENTARY SERIES:

This entire series was irredeemable garbage! I don't even know where to begin… If you are interested to find out "how Europeans came to dominate the history" then you can leave now as the documentary does not actually explore the thesis it set for itself. Instead, it goes on a politically correct tangent vilifying whites. It's not like the Berbers or Turks ever raided and captured Europeans for slavery. Or did they? On behalf of this narrative facts are omitted or misrepresented. Perhaps it's for the best the thesis is quickly discarded as it is preposterous. Over the course of history nations in many regions had their go at being the top dog. From Mongols inhabiting freezing steppes to Arabs on scorched deserts. It's questionable whether the author has performed an academic research beyond the eurocentric textbooks for kids. How come China was never mentioned? They were historically more unified and just as rich if not more than Europe, and countless inventions come from them. Why is the no mention of dogs or chickens? Again, if we are talking contemporary great powers then those are scattered around the entire globe. When it comes to world dominance Europe has been in decline for a while. I've heard some very positive opinions in regards to the book so I sincerely hope it's nothing like this series. The theory of geography influencing development of civilisations is intriguing and sensible, it's just a shame this documentary series doesn't to it justice.

Don't waste your time on this. I suggest watching some documentaries on historic civilisations made by BBC. You will learn more and although they too can push their own agendas, at least they're better directed and stay focused on point.

It's an interesting documentary, but some of the information is incoherent or omitted. That said, the biggest downside here is the political correctness and vilification of the white west.

I have no problem with this as a general theory of civilization but the use of the word "inequality" is extremely vague and betrays a need to be politically correct. certainly inequality of the more destructive and sinister kind arises from bad behavior of a few members in both developed and developing societies. not to mention the complicity of the masses who are mostly content to be slaves and turn a blind eye to a fundamentally flawed economic system. you cannot glaze over that with a general theory, a powerful theory as it may be. the focus on new guinea is convenient due to the relative intactness of their original culture in spite of colonization, but due to globalization that is becoming more of an exception.

I enjoyed this documentary but there is no explanation as to why Japan is so advanced and had impressive technology in the 1800s and were highly civilized in both culture and customs. Japan was isolated, did not have wheat nor livestock. Japan's people were well fed and were not subsistence farmers or nomadic herdsmen.
