the clash es re buena banda porque todos los de la banda tocan re bien sus instrumentos y porque tenian contenido de protesta en sus canciones
rip joe se fue un gran musico y un gran guitarrista
Paul too stoned or drunk or hungover or 2 out of the 3.
🙏🏻Glory Be to Da Clash 💕💕
Depois dessa apresentação eles mandaram o engenheiro de som embora.
Haha wtf
Para mi uno de los mejores grupos …. The Clash !!!! Irrepetibles !!!!
I was fortunate to be a teenager living in the 1980s UK , with UK bands : THE CLASH, THE SMITHS, THE JAM, i wouldn't swap it for any other decade, " Joe Strummer R.I.P "
cool to see Joe play the bass
High energy performance! Fridays had awesome music guests.
Punk forever
The Best!
Now, in 2019, the guns of Brixton are for real
God, I miss The Clash!
The only band that matters.
Forever etched in time. Dare I say the coolest band every?
Bad Teef Cocaine Freak Band
I find the Clash absolutely crap live. Makes me wonder if they were a real band.
Am I the only one that realises that's not Joe Strummer singing…
This is more a "rock" version of these instead of the reggae versions that are on the album.
Love this Performance always have loved the clash
Am I the only one who's not particularly impressed with this ? This is s a pretty bad version of Guns of Brixton (too fast and completely lacking the soul and menace of the original) and mediocre version of clampdown.
Strummer looking like he's just walked out of treblinka and someone's handed him a Tele
kinda mashed up version from guns…
liked the original more.
but hey.. its the clash…:)
get the man some dentistry
At last I found a video where Strummer and Simonon reverse the instruments so far had only seen photos, The best band of all times!

Play it at 0.9X and it will be like the record.
I am the woman dancing in the blue dress. Around 3:40 and somewhere near the end … If you wanna see pix and read stories of the Clash, you can google me. Punk Pioneers. The greatest band I ever saw or photographed. I have never further to say here.
WOW!! topper on clampdown is a real treat to the ears and eyes. unbelievable playing, especially listen to the kick drum on the bridge!!! used to play clampdown in a band I was in from Philly called the Von Cools, and just loved playing it, kicking the shit out of my drum kit.also sang the lead vocal on this song and the Rezillos song "bad guy reaction" which also has a great drum part, a real basher!! we actually did the the Rezillos album in it's entirety, this was in 1980-81…….. great time to be in a band, awesome memories.
Can't believe I've never seen this before. Amazing performance, much better than their SNL show in 1982 which was on a much smaller stage that just made it look cluttered AF. I'd never seen Paul play guitar before.
Simonon, the bloke started in the band needing stickers on his bass to have the right notes, a year later: Guns of Brixton. Perhaps one of the best bass lines ever! And top of that reggae offbeat
Once open a time…this band mattered, 4 those of you that were not there…
I can only imagine how bad your life turned out, lol.
🙂
Great version of Clampdown!
