I actually liked that game king kong
U sounded like Snoop Dogg ???
Yup. I am a PS2 player of this game. Now I'm gonna go relive the nightmares I got the first time I ever played it…
King Kong the game is underrated
I actually bought this game twice for my PS2.
This game terrified me as a kid, but it was so fun and engaging. Going through spears and bones after running our of ammo, squinting through the fog waiting for velociraptors to attack, the giant bugs, trying to hopelessly outrun the v rexes. It was truly one of if not the first survival horror experience I ever grew up with.
i remember this game being a broken pile of shit that corrupted my save file as well as refusing to let me passed a certain part of the game
Those chapters where it was you vs that giant Trex were so nerve wracking. Running from cover to cover hiding from that unkillable beast.
14:10 Did StarForce seriously corrupt your boot drive? I thought it would only render OSes newer than XP unbootable (which is fixed by deleting .dll files associated with the DRM).
A hidden gem
What was that space FPS in the beginning
i got a blue screen the minute you mentioned starforge. lol
As a horror game, it's scary as hell. As an action game, it's exhilarating. As an adventure game, it's thrilling. It's shocking how this game was so forgotten.
I used to be so scared to play this game when I was a kid lmao
I first played this game when I was 7 and it scared the ever loving shit out of me. Just walking through a tight space, hearing light skittering noises before a giant millipede jumps out of no where.
I used to watch my uncle play this game even tho I never played it this game has a special place in my gamer boy heart
Honestly, having never played this game, if almost anybody else told me Peter Jackson's King Kong The Official Game Of The Movie was actually good, I would have laughed in their face.
3::33 Handwriting, so elegant that only someone who gave more than a damn could have done it..
Holy shit Vick you are the master of transition
Okay so basically I'm monky
Michel Ancel proved to be a brilliant game director, creating back to back classics with Beyond Good & Evil and King Kong. So, naturally, Ubisoft decided enough is enough and assigned him to nothing but Rayman games from 2005 on. Because it makes sense that a creative genius should be assigned to "directing" the same casual platform game over and over, like Sisyphus forever pushing a boulder up the hill.
definitely going back and buying this!
why dont you have at least a million subs yet come on people open your eyes
One of the best ps2 games ever
I would love a remake… but i feel like nowadays it will be cluttered with shit nobody asked for. Objective markers and other hud elements -cosmetics — DLC — loot and other stuff
I did not expect to be so engrossed in this video.
Awesome work, man!
This was the scariest game i had when i was younger.. those massive centepieds scared the shit out of me xD
Gold guns girls?
i like the point that you dont need to see on screen deaths because the danger and fear was felt by jack and by the player. or at least this game scared by 13 year old ass something, the survival horror ness of it all was wonderful for me back then and prob still
Going on a marathon of your vids ill let you know when im done
King Kong > battlefield V
8 year old me got PTSD from the bat mofos in this game
Oh man I forgot about this game!!! I miss those PS2’s days
Got this in a 360 bundle around the console's launch along with Condemned: Criminal Origins. I looooved this game's lack of hud and immersion, same with condemned, had such a great start to 7th gen 😀
I beat this game in a single day when I was a kid
FUCKIN FIRE. STRAIGHT MOTHERFUCKING FIRE.
Um dinosaurs were quit intelligent thank you very much.
This game used to absolutely terrify me — I cant believe I played through it all as a 10 year old
My dream is to become a AAA game developer and make a Tiberuim spiritual successor.
So I can tell EA go F*** yourself in the face for leaving a potential masterpiece and ruin the C&C even more with a mobile game.
This game occupies a modestly-sized slot in my childhood memory — I remember loving it except when I was actually playing it. It just seemed more "immersive" than other story-driven shooters of the time (CoD) — I think that "de-game-ifying" approach gave it more kudos than it really deserved but I appreciate it as a little experiment Wingnut attempted. If this shit happened nowadays they'd be trying to turn it into a game IP with multiple installments. Guess that's one time the big wigs writing off the video game medium actually worked in our favor.
If it was possible, that would be cool to have a sequel but based off the expeditions to Skull Island after the New York incident.
Bruh that cover was straight fire
the centipedes always used to creep me out but then again i played this when i was 5
ok so basically im monky
The cover at the end is very goooooood
What’s the gameplay at 3:40 from?
Can I just mention how unbelievably beautiful the music is for that film?
I love games that don't bombard you with HUD clutter and just let you immerse yourself in the world.
honestly this was, amongst many others a game i adored as a child
