In a new episode of Rule Britannia, VICE joins the UK’s Army Cadet Force and asks what the youth club can give British kids who may not have a lot else.
The Army Cadet Force has over 46,000 cadets from the ages of 12 to 18, training in 1,700 detachments all over the country. The super low-cost club evenings and training camps equip teenagers with discipline and skills in everything from orienteering and military knowledge to weaponry, first aid, and sports.
Smartly uniformed and proudly representing Queen and Country, the young cadets are taught to embody British values. The theory that cadet activities could keep youth on the right track has seen huge government funding allocated to expand the cadets by next year.

I wish I could do this kind of thing but I can’t because I live in America
I just wanted to listen to a song and instead I saw this
Isn't this technicly training of child soldiers?
Gosh I would love to take this seriously if it wasn't for the drill, but I think most of them look like new recruits and the other ones have okay drill.
That 2012 drill tho, eeehhh…
so kids in cadets are allowed guns but adults arent even allowed a handgun. cheers
2:27 1..2..3..4… how many niggers are in my store
Get ya arse in the water
Wish there was an u.s. Marine version of this
All kids should be made to do this ..
I’m a Canadian army cadet affiliated with and engineer regiment
I was in there I was a lieutenant all we did in there is basically know one there but we’re just shooting guns we only just learn about shooting guns how we supposed to do it but when I wearer all the cloth and gear I almost fell because the back is heavy while I’m carrying a heavy bag we carry only 5 mags we got 2 mag and second we got a triple mag to it it hurt my finger when got to load it in there is no head gear I only wearer a boonie and it’s boring there not enemies to kill no killing but only shooting targets
In Russia the kids actually shoot real guns
The Army cadets and Air cadets in the UK are absolute shite, Enrolement takes fucking ages for you to get a uniform, I had to wear a polo shirt in the remembrance day march and look like a complete bellend. I never got to fly and aircraft because the RAF bases where always busy, I never EVER touched a gun in the cadets, I was in there for about a year, spent 100 quid in membership fees, and also being forced to give money for charity events. So basically, if your interested in joining the cadets, Dont expect to be shooting guns and flying aircraft and driving tanks every month, your lucky to shoot a gun every year or so
The marching though. I can do way better even though I'm a basic. I'm A company Gibralter
We also have this
Plz do this but with Sweden
You can tell this is English cadets I remember getting this humer and the piss taking from when I was a baisc to even when I was a 3 star I miss it so much
Where can I sign up
When I’m old enough I’m joining
I’m a cadet for the RAF 🙂
Is this kids gonna defend or they can join in the deployment
That one lady instructer from when they learned to switch to a(automatic) wouldn't be the worst sargeant.
0:31 OI IED M8 LET ME JUST FEEL IT UP BIT!
While the enemies are teaching their kids to chew and spit ours out. Technology and Intelligence is what wins wars but, if we were tougher on these kids, we would be a wave of dominance.
Kids like this will die fighting to free England from muslims … thanks for that fucking government..
Air cadets do exactly the same except that they do flying as well
I would have to be a cadet for the US tho
I wanna do that I love the military
allow the islands like Jamaica direct recruitment to the UK army
Does the US have a program like this? I would be interested.
Air cadets is better than army cadets
I'm a cadet but in Canada lmao
Theirs a sad legacy though behind this, the British send 250,000 boy solders to France in ww1,hope it doesn't happen again?
This is how kids should learn about guns,i love this?
becarful with patriotism. It can easily turn to racism.
They should do an air cadets one
5:40 BOI WHAT THE FUCK ARE THOSE LACES YOU GONNA TRIP
That kid with adhd is saying some sycko shit
The local cadets are stationed in my school grounds and several are my mates, so this was amazing to watch
