Russian President Vladimir Putin inspected a range of guns that may be adopted by the Russian police and military during a visit to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow on Thursday.
The president showed particular interest in a five-round electro-shock pistol with a range of 6 metres (20 feet), as well as new army handgun that has already undergone state trials.
Putin visited the exhibition before attending a meeting with officials at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
