Bruh, I live in California and I got a Henry golden boy lever action rifle about a year ago from Dick's sporting goods.( I know that it is only a .22, but I could not resist its beauty). And it takes 11 days for background checks and such. Then, the day which it was time to pick it up, the employee in charge of the firearms section did not even come into work that day. So I had to drive an hour and a half back to my house and wait the next day. THEN, I finally managed to get the gun. But it does not end there. A few months later, we were about to depart to our cabin in Lake Arrowhead for a week of shootin and fishin. THEN, they called us saying that we somehow used an invalid hunting license to prove our identity (which expired the month before) which they said before that it is okay to use. SO, they TOOK the gun back or they were going to turn us in to the Feds. They took it for another 11 days! AND IT IS ONLY AND LEVER ACTION .22!! Because ya know, a lever action .22 is DeFiNiTeLy A mass murdering weapon.
